These are my favorite, go-to sandals. DO order a half size larger than you normally would though. I usually wear a 10M-10.5M and I ordered an 11M — perfect. I have another Taos style sandal in 10M and my toes are right at the front edge, so the 1/2 size extra is a much better fit. I have this style in the navy pearl, pewter and now bronze. These are very comfortable if you are okay with a between-the-toes thong. They stay on your feet, they don’t slide around as with flip flops, they don’t make that foot-slap sound, and they have enough arch support to wear all day with no discomfort. I have a somewhat high instep and there is plenty of room. They were vaguely snug at first but after a short time of wear, the foot bed (all one piece, no irritating seams) and top parts (super soft) sort of magically conformed to my feet and the fit became perfect. I have had the pewter pair the longest, about 4 years, and they have not stretched out or worn out. Pewter is very neutral metallic so goes with everything. Navy pearl is for jeans, looks great with dark navy or stone-washed. Bronze is great with darker colors, mostly browns and even black. I love the look and fit of these sandals.

Love the style and they are pretty comfortable. I have a high instep and just wish they were a little wider to accommodate my instep. I have them in shoe stretchers to try to widen them a bit.

Love these shoes. I normally wear a 7 1/2 but sized up to an 8 and it fits perfectly. Love that the way it’s designed covers my bunion and makes my foot really comfortable. Will definitely order more colors in this style.

I LOVE these shoes. I have bunions and they are soft enough to not cause discomfort and yet they hide the bunion. THey allow me to wear summer shoes that are really classy. Purchased two pair in different sizes because I wasn’t sure which would fit. Am returning the larger size. They run true to size. I usually wear an 8 and that is the one I am keeping.

I ordered these shoes after reading about them on barkingdogshoes.com I was looking for a comfortable slip on sandal for travel that would cover bunions and this shoe fits the bill. I ordered these in pewter, size 8 which is a 1/2 size up and the fit is perfect. They have a good arch and are quite comfortable, the leather is very soft. The pewter has a variation in color which I wasn’t expecting but decided I like the effect. Looking forward to comfy summer days wearing these sandals.

This sandal is so comfortable and is very cute! I normally wear a 9 or a European 40, but this shoe was too small in my normal size. I recommend you size up.

I bought these to hide bunions and they are perfect. Although the uppers are close fitting the leather is so soft that they don’t rub. I am an 8.5 in closed shoes and an 8 in sandals and they 8 was a good fit. The pewter is a great color.

I really like this sandal! I bought the pewter color, and it goes with everything so far. I’ve worn it with jeans, capris, and casually with an a-line dress. I would have been happier with a little more arch support, but so far I’m pleased with the comfort! I also like the style and the way they look on my foot! I’m happy that I purchased them!

These are obviously good shoes for some people, as evidenced by the positive reviews, but not for me. I normally wear a 9 sandal and 9 or 9 1/2 shoe. In this sandal, the 40 was too small (my heel went clear to the very back end of the shoe) and the 41 was simply too big. It’s too bad Taos isn’t making US half sizes. Also, the toe piece was uncomfortable for me in both sizes. In the 40, it seemed to push my foot too far back in the shoe, and wasn’t much better in the 41. So I am sadly returning both sizes. However, the shoes seemed VERY comfortable if they fit properly so, as every foot is different, they may work well for anyone else. Don’t be scared off by my review!
The taupe printed leather is a great color, a lovely cool taupe, no orangey tones. However it has a faint shine which I could do without but wouldn’t reject them just for that.

This is my third pair of Taos Gift in about 2 years. I wear them nearly every single day-they are just that comfortable, and they hold up beautifully even the metallic colors. I actually prefer them to my athletic shoes for walking. They are comfortable and supportive right out of the box. Perfect for travel when you’ll be doing a lot of walking. They’re the best! I just wish they would occasionally come out with a bright wild color like orange or turquoise, just for fun, but their neutrals and metallics fill the bill.

I saw this sandal on a friend last summer, and I fell in love with the style. When she told me they were Taos. I was even more interested because their arch support is recommended for plantar fasciitis. I finally got around to ordering a pair, and I am not disappointed. They felt comfortable immediately–velvety soft insole and the toe peg does not irritate, a major concern with thong styles. The metallic color makes them suitable for dressing up or down, and I plan to wear them on my next cruise with my dressy pants outfit. Oh, and the size 11, my usual size, is a perfect fit.

I couldn’t be happier with these sandals. I have wide feet, bunions and a high arch. The soft leather lies smoothly over my bunion, completely covering it. The fit is so supportive that I can walk and even run short distances while wearing the sandals.

I found these sandals to be comfortable right away, and I can wear them all day. The arch support is good for me. I don’t usually spend this much for sandals, but would buy another pair. Normally I wear a 9.5 or 10. I ordered size 10 and they fit perfectly.

I wanted these sandals to work. They felt great on but they had a terribly strong odor. It was almost a chemical odor in the leather and the footbed. I left them out of the box until the next day and the room they were in still had the odor a day later after I packaged and returned the shoes.

This is my second pair after returning my first due to the fact that the outside material is tearing at my bunion. I received a replacement pair and the same thing is happening. I bought these because the reviews of those with bunions sing the praises of the Gift 2. I love the look and the comfort. I had my left bunion removed in January and that sandal is fine. The right side is the problem. I’m surprised that anyone else with bunions don’t have this tearing at the spot.

This is my second pair of these sandals, they are unbelievably comfortable and hold up very well. I have had many foot problems, and these feel like slippers, but with support! I can walk miles in them. I usually wear a 7.5 but these are perfect in an 8.

Would have loved the sandal but Taos needs to make the shoe in half sizes. I am a true 7 1/2 in sandals. Tried the 8 but they are too wide. Tried the 7 and width is good but footbed too short. Sadly they will both go back.

I was hoping for more of a yellow with the sun gold. These were definitely more gold and not very stylish at all. Thery are an immediate return. I took pictures inside & outside to show different lighting and that they look gold or gold/tan in every light.

Shoe fits well and is very comfortable to wear, with no “flip flop” when walking! Design allows nice pedicure to fully show.
