These shoes are very cushioned, but dangerous. I have trouble standing up when wearing these. It’s like trying to stand on a ball. I often fall back onto whatever I was sitting on. Yesterday I was sitting on a chair, tipped backwards, knocked the chair over, fell on it, and cracked the chair back. Once standing, I’m okay, because I actually have a good sense of balance. But, walking in these is taxing. I thought the cushioning would help, but it’s like walking on sand. Your calf muscles work harder than you should walking on a sidewalk. I hoped that maybe the cushion was in the insole and I could buy an insole that was more stabilizing. However, the insole is thin. The cushioning is built in. Until yesterday’s fall, I planned to tough it out, but given the damage done to my dining room chair and the potential of getting seriously injured, I’m going to have to buy a different shoe. But standing still? So comfortable.

This is my favorite shoe! Loved them the first time. Loved them my 2nd time. and this is my third round!
Love them. I can walk farther because of the shoe comfort, my knees don’t hurt!

These are the best athletic shoes I have ever worn and I am very picky. They are MUCH better than the v 13. These have far more stability. In fact, I find them to be more stable than my athletic shoes that are supposed to be stability shoes. They are cushiony, but not too much. I highly recommend them.

WHY WHY WHY do they continue to mess up a good thing. ?? Ive been buying 1080’s since 1080v8. Which was a pretty amazing sneaker as was the V10. Since then they have made changes that just ruin it. SO SO SO disappointing. Will be returning the v14.

They felt true to size and width. Seemed comfortable, thought I’d keep them…but after wearing them in the house for about 30mins., my toes started to go to sleep. Not sure why? Sadly, I’ll Return them .

Why do shoe companies have to change a good fitting, comfortable shoe? Have the New Balance 1080 fresh foam and love them. The 1080v14 is so different in look and fit and my feet hurt after wearing them around the house.

I found these incredibly uncomfortable, putting a lot of stress on my mid-foot and making my feet fall asleep – even when I loosened them.

When my watch notified me it was time to replace my treadmill shoes, I ordered my 5th pair of New Balance 1080 v 14 shoes. Yes, I have had 5 pair of New Balance 1080’s over time. I have loved them until now. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. The next morning, I jumped on the treadmill with them and this is where the love started to fade. They are extremely cushioned, so much so, I don’t really feel the connection to the treadmill which is odd. The arch support isn’t there like my last pair, and while I don’t feel as if I will fall off the treadmill, they feel a bit unstable for lack of a better word. I finished my walk, and tried again 3 more days, and I just can’t use them on the treadmill. Fortunately, I have a brand new pair of 1080 v12 that I have been wearing in my workout room for indoors. I moved those to the treadmill and brough the new ones upstairs. What a difference wearing the v12’s are vs the v14 on the treadmill. Great arch support, more stability and I can actually feel my feet connecting to the treadmill. I understand companies wanting to update shoes, and add new features, but seriously why mess with something that was good. Once the pair of v12’s wear out on the treadmill, I can’t just order another version of the same shoe, I will have to research something different and that bums me out.
