Hoka C –
I love mach 5 but mach 6 is so much better except for the tongue it wants to slide down when putting shoes on and stick to your feet if I wear no show socks. But I love them! I’m a member of Hoka so I was able to purchase a pair before March 1st and then I purchased a different color.
Only reason I gave a 4 star is because of the tongue of the shoe. I currently own 5 pair of Hoka mach 5 1 pair of bondi x and 2 mach 6.

I don’t want to wear any other shoes since I got them they are super comfortable! I have been wearing them to work out and to the airport in Atlanta which is an insane amount of walking! These are my 5th pair of Hokas and I love them the best!
Hannah –
More cushion than the Cliftons. Only downside is I am right in the middle of an 8.5 and an 8 in all the hokas I’ve purchased.
Kelly –
I love the new Mach 6. Out of the ten other pair of Hoka I have these have worn the best by far.
SJS –
The Mach 6 is definitely a little narrower in the toe box than the Mach 5. I decided to go up 1/2 size and it worked so much better. The bigger shoe was a little looser than I’m used to, but I’d rather that than have my toes squished because I know I would never wear a tight sneaker. Other than that, the shoe is great. There is more tread on the bottom to protect the foam so I hopefully will be able to get more wear out of these. The arch support is great. They were worth the wait!

I bought these just in time for summer. As a server in NYC, I’m on my feet all day and we get super busy. I get tons of compliments and they are SO. COMFY. I can’t recommend these enough!!!

I walk 5 miles a day. Mach 6 big improvement from 5 . Lots of cushion and light weight. Feel great on my feet.
LRB888 –
Love this shoe! Very supportive, feels very cushioned but not like walking/running in sand. Great roll-through for responsiveness. I got my typical 9.5 in HOKAs and other running shoes, am a size 9 in non-athletic shoes. Purchased the black and the eggnog color and hoping for a grey or solid white? Until then will wear a pair for everyday and a pair for running. Highly recommended!

I have been suffering with plantar fasciitis, but the Mach 5s saved my runs. I figured the Mach 6 would be just as great. I was wrong. The Mach 6 killed both my feet, despite only having plantar fasciitis in one foot.
Mannie –
I chose these shoes initially for the bright colors, but love how cushiony and comfortable they are! I definitely recommend.
Cardo –
My wife loves these Hoka. She wears them all the time when running and doing training.
Andi –
This was my first time buying Hoka and I absolutely love them. Bought them for a trip where we walked about 8 miles a day and my feet felt fine. I have plantar fasciitis and the foot bed of these are so cushiony, supportive, and light. My feet did not get overly hot either.

I’m am RN and was SO happy to finally find the perfect shoe for my 12 hour shifts – the Mach 5! I wanted a second pair in a different color, so I figured the Mach 6 would be it. SOOOO disappointed. They are so tight in the toe box – unlike the Mach 5 – I couldn’t bear a few steps, even in thin socks, let alone in the thicker socks I love for work. Other brands have done this in the past (looking at you, Brooks) which is why I left them. And now Hoka. What the heck man? Why is this a thing? Were there complaints about the toe box being too wide? I truly wish I understood this.
Jaky –
They are the most comfortable sneakers for running and everything else, these are my second pair but not my last.

This is a running shoe – very padded and good for running. I wanted a walking shoe so had to return. Gorgeous and very stylish!

I have been wearing the Mach 5 for the last couple of years. They were recommended to me after I had back surgery and they have been a lifesaver. I’m an 8.5 in Mach 5 but I needed a 9 in the Mach 6. Initially I found the Mach 6 comfortable but after wearing them to the gym I ended up with a lot of ankle and leg pain. Nothing else had changed with my workout or daily routine so I know it was the shoes. I was so sad to send these back. The pink is so cute in person. *The pair I got from Zappos had a flaw where the left shoe squeaked incessantly so I sent them back and got the eggnog color from a local vendor. Eggnog is pretty in person if you can keep your shoes clean. The tongue is strange and it does indeed slide down as you wear the shoe, as the other reviewer stated. I am now on the search for another brand yet again. I wish Hoka would have left well enough alone with the Mach 5. Also, these do run a little narrow.

Great running shoe for treadmill and outdoor miles. Very comfortable and secure

Incredible. I thought I loved the Clifton 9, but these are, believe it or not, even better! I’ve enjoyed alternating between these and the Clifton’s for my daily runs. They have a bit of a bounce mid sole that is really nice and makes you wanna goooooo!! They are a bit more narrow than the Clifton 9s, but not so much that I had to size up or anything. These make running fun. Love, love, love.

Normally I don’t want to be negative or leave bad reviews but I think it is good for others to know. Everyone has different taste and feel about shoes, especially running shoes. I’ve been running in HOKA for the last 2ish years on a daily basis, switching from Ultraboost and Brooks. I agree with many reviewers about this model, it is totally different feeling than Mach 5 and Mach 4. Although Mach 5 and Match 4 are slightly different on the toe box for me but not a major notice. I just came back from my morning 5 miles run in Mach 6 and my right foot was numbed, tingling, left foot started to feel a bit uncomfortable. I had to stop twice to adjust my shoe lace and hopefully it can help with the numbing but it didn’t help. The numbing starts around 4miles and I had to really push myself to finish the last mile to tolerant the pain. This was my third try for Mach 6 and was hoping i can break it in, but not yet. Im still debating if i should change it to Clifton or not. On a seperate note, Clifton 9 is working for me pretty well, although it feels different than Clifton 8, but both models don’t give me any discomfort for my 5-6 miles daily run. Arahi 6 & 7 fall into my “question” section as well compare to Arahi 5, guess, more to come.

I bought these shoes in May, I have used them very little, and the sole has already worn out. They are too comfortable for jogging and I fell in love with these shoes but I am disappointed because in less than 3 months and with very little use the sole wore out. I have had other brands of jogging shoes and this has never happened to me. In fact, I have had the shoes for years and they are practically new.
Hutch –
I am 68 years young and have never experienced such a comfortable athletic shoe. I have purchased numerous pairs of shoes in my lifetime but none can come close to this Mach 6! TRUST ME PEOPLE…THIS IS THE BEST EVER!!!!
SS –
I love this shoe. Every version of the Mach is better than the last. However, I am consistently disappointed in the durability though. Within 3 months the soles were visibly worn down. For the price, I do wish they would last longer.
Amy –
My previous running shoe was a Mach 5 but it had become difficult to find in my size. The Mach 6 feels a good substitute. I cannot tell a difference in support or cushion between 5 and 6. It is more important that it feels good on my foot, no rubbing, or pinched toes. I’m happy with the Mach 6.
The T –
I work in healthcare and I’m on my feet 90% or more of the day. I’ve worn the bondi’s in the past but like how these are more sleek. Instantly comfortable and my feet don’t throb after a long day. They are also work well with orthotics inserts if that’s a need. The tongue is also a thin rubber layer with a comfortable mess layer underneath and an elastic band on either side that helps hold it in place. Always a hoka lover but definitely a Mach 6 convert
Olga –
I originally was in love with Mach 4. Mach 5 was a miss. And Mach 6 is back in love again.
Few notes:
– Mach 6 runs smaller than Mach 4 did. In 4 I was size 8.5 and in Mach 6 I’m a 9 now. I’m 36 so my foot is done growing a while back lol
– the usual shoe lace issue. They come undone. So tie up twice.
Now to pros:
1. Cushion feels amazing! My knees, shins, arches don’t feel overworked and feel great running in these shoes. I’m currently training for my 1st marathon and the shoes feel amazing.
2. Shoes are light and barely feel like anything is on.
3. I always used to use extra insoles but with these shoes so far no need. I’m not sure if they reworked the bottom of the shoe coz I needed insole for Mach 4 and 5 series. So far in the last few weeks of using the shoes I’m feeling great.
