Pretty, but… I ordered the pale gold and was surprised that it appeared darker, almost the same as the bronze color. I love that sexy Guess heel, but the upper on the shoe was loose and curved up on itself while wearing. I reluctantly returned them.

I love the look of these shoes! The criss-cross straps on the top of the foot look great and the ankle strap is super sexy. The bottom strap that goes straight across, though, sort of makes it look like you have four toes instead of five, but friends told me I was making too much of that. I think it looked different from the front than from looking down on them. The problem: I bought them for a party and even after a glass of champagne or two they were so painful that I had to end up either sitting or dancing barefoot. And I’m pretty hard-core when it comes to that, they were just SO painful. So–if you are going to sit or otherwise keep the weight off your feet and just show these shoes off, these are the shoes for you!
