Brandon –
They are very narrow. I have been wearing Etnies Callicut’s for years size 12… unfortunately they don not make them anymore. The Marana shoe is nice looking but are way too narrow… too bad because it’s a nice style. Sending them back.

I have two Maranas, the R.S. signature red, and the standard blue for about a month now. They are very Comfortable out of the box. I personally did not think they were narrow at all. After about one wear, they soften up, not that they really need to anyways. A lot of people have complimented my shoes, especially the blue. They are pretty good for skating. They hold up well, especially in the toe area. The reinforced toe cap really helps and does not get ripped up too quickly. It still has not a month later. I walk in them all day pretty much as well. These things are troopers. The R.S. red got a little dirty pretty quick, but I would assume a lot of red shoes that bright will get a little darker over time. Anyways, great shoe, not the best set of Etnies I have ever had, (nor is it like them back in the day) but definitely close to it and worth a buy. Especially with that return policy.

Durable shoe with more of a snug fit compared to other etnies I’ve had in the past. Pretty much ready to skate out of the box.

I’ve been buying 13’s for 20 years, and this is only the second time I’ve ever run into a pair of 13’s being too small. I swapped them for 14’s, which fit a little larger than I like. An option for 13.5’s would have been really nice, but I’ve only seen that size a couple times over the years.

I bought these for my hubs. He’s beyond annoying when it comes to shoe shopping, which is why I appreciate Zappos so much. He actually liked these so much that we ended up getting them in 2 colors. Comfort is definitely his #1 priority, and these were the only style out of about 10 pairs that he deemed comfy and padded/cushy enough to keep, so these shoes are a big win in my book.

I love this shoe! Out of all the skate shoes I have skated in, this is the most durable, and comfortable. 10 stars!

I got these for my husband so that he could get back to skating again (the base we moved to has a skate park and he cannot resist it’s charms) but the shoes he used to prefer are no longer being manufactured. He settled for Etnies on the grounds that they were at least more durable than DC and Vans but these shoes are WAY TOO NARROW and now I must send them back. Etnies offers no widths other than medium, apparently, so he will have to slum it with DCs…he mourns this version of progress.

Love these shoes, I wear them with everything. Would buy more if they had any in stock!

They look good with jeans and they feel sturdy without being clunky.
The sizing is pretty normal for skate shoes which translates to a little small for most men’s shoes

These were ok shoes that ran a bit shorter than expected. It seems like all shoes are getting narrower on me and I’m not sure why. These were 4 star shoes but I wanted 5.

Super durable toecap. Bottom 3 laces have an internal lace loop option. No tongue straps. Thick STI insoles for cushioning. Would highly recommend if you’re looking a long lasting skate shoe.

I ordered 2 different sizes of these trying my best to find one that fit. NOT possible these shoes ~ * RUN SKINNY * ~. early August 2017 THEY HURT they are so skinny.
also don’t let the Michelin rubber fool you looked to be the only part of these well constructed. NOT worth the $75. maybe $55 they are THIN & shady construction.
As an ex semi pro BMXer i have worn many ETNIES over the years & they started going down hill in 2000s with FAT THICK tongue designs & not this. SHAME SHAME
Dont think ETNIES caters to any non tween customers. Guess they think no one has normal width feet. i wouldnt even call mine wide. Returned both & also no longer a customer of ETNIES lost all faith in them.

Great skate shoe, been skating them for about 3 weeks now, barely any wear on them. Very comfortable and take impact well. They do get a little warm on my feet though and I’ve gone through a few laces. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a durable skate shoe.

I bought several different styles of Etnies and these were the ones that fit the best. They are super comfy, sleek, and relatively light. Sometimes shoes in my size 12 can feel a bit heavy and bulky but these feel great. I didn’t notice the Michelin branding on the shoe before I bought, but overall I like the shoe enough that it doesn’t bother me.

How can you go wrong, etnies, chris joslin, marana not much else to say except grab a pair and start shreddin there one of the best shoes of this century
BT –
Lots of good cusion but not overly padded. Old skool sk8 shoes were still thicker. Fit is the same as the Reynolds G6 and the Lakai Griffin. Not as narrow as other skate shoes. (note, the white w/black soled ones I received have a bit of a color issue on the toe cap. looks a little pinkish. probably fade away after some ollies). Lovin etnies right now.

female size 7 women get mens 5.5!
great fit, very firm and good quality, will definitely stretch out and form to your foot.
women’s sizing is 1.5 sizes bigger than men’s… i had to order a few pairs to figure it out.
Best fit for female sizing would be find your favorite shoe/skating shoe and find the EU or cm size and try to match that with the Etnies label sizing! for example, 37.5 cm/5.5 US matches the other pair that also reads 37.5 cm/ 5.5 US
hope that helps!

I have feet that are 2.5 times wider at the ball of the foot than at the ankle. Skate shoes have been very hard to find. I bought these (9.5) in the same size I buy vans pros in (9.5 – though I can technically size down to 9 in the vans). For those with extremely wide feet, these are a godsend for skateboarding. These also have almost no arch support which is great since I have a high and healthy arch, which means shoes like the adidas tyshawns with high arch supports make me prone to ankle rolls on simple flatground flip tricks. These have less boardfeel than a vans pro, but not by as much as you would expect. I can easily skate transition in these just as well as I can skate street.
These shoes have been a very positive experience for me overall. They felt more broken-in than vans old skools right out of the box. They have enough support that I can stop destroying my big toe and a good flick. I would highly recommend these shoes and I’m not sure I can say that about any other current slim cupsoles.
These also don’t look gross and puffy like an es accel og, even though you would think so. Though I gave up on looking cool skating long ago, these look much cooler than the fat cupsoles I was forced to wear for years to accomodate my wide feet. They are closer to one of new balance numeric’s slimmer cupsoles or maybe the slimmer emerica cups.

The toe box narrows on the toe side, and is identical to a vans skate shoe as far as the shape of the sole. this pinches my little toe and hurts my foot, so unfortunately i cant wear these and are returning. I don’t see the reason to narrow the toe box on a shoe designed for BMX. why, why, why !. Loved them otherwise, the build quality is excellent and they feel comfortable otherwise, they look great, and the soles are super sticky.

Good fit, a tiny bit narrow, but otherwise quite comfy!

The Michelin rubber soles made me think these were higher quality than they are. They have nearly zero arch support — it’s like wearing a pair of Chuck Taylors. I wish I could return them, but I waited too long.

Was a size too small but ordered the right size and were great

these are great shoes, they will last a while skating in them I have been skating these for a week and there is minimal damage compared to vans. They felt slightly smaller then you might want but they are cupsole shoes and there is a good amount of padding, so the slight smallness is just padding not the shoe being small, but I might go up a half size just in case.

I love the color and the look of the Marana. When I skate I have a good feel on the board while still having impact resistance. It’s a sturdy shoe. The shoes are pretty narrow. I definitely needed to go a 1/2 size. I have wide feet at the toe and they narrow down to my ankles. I also have high arches. My pinkie toes press on the edge of the shoe. I m hoping I can break them in some more. I find the heels to be a tad loose, however, they stay on my feet when I skate. I will most likely purchase these shoes again at 1/2 size large

Great looks and fit.
