Not for medium to narrow feet. The straps were much too wide. I would have kept them if not for that.
Cat –
Great summer sandal, very well made, no break in time, extremely comfortable, surprisingly light weight for the look of the sandal. I ordered 2 pairs, one for my daughter she wears a 9 in Dr. Marten boots but took an 8 in this sandal. I wear an 8.5 – 9 in most sandals a 9 in all slides and I ordered an 8 in this sandal, fits perfectly

Get them a size smaller than you usually would. I did that based on other reviews I read, and they fit perfectly.

I wear a true 9.5 so i went down to 9 per other reviews. They fit perfectly. However, they are NOT leather. Box says “hydro leather” whatever that is. They are vinyl. Returning because i want real leather. Cute sandals though.

Too big in length, and I am a very true size 7. Straps oddly placed and way too loose. Side buckle hits my food painfully. I love the look of these but boy oh boy I don’t WHOSE feet they’d fit. If one wanted to wear them with big thick socks they’d probably be fine, but for petes’ sake they’re sandals!
Sam –
These are so cute and comfortable. I normally wear a 9.5 and purchased a 9 and they fit great! Love them so much! Also.. Zappos has the best customer service ever. Yay, I am obsessed!

I already love Dr Martens. This is my fourth pair of sandals and I really like them. They are very comfortable and secure on my feet.
Barbara –
What has happened to Dr Martens? The entire shoe felt like it was made of hard plastic-stiff, unyielding and uncomfortable. Even the inside, which used to be leather or at least some kind of material that felt soft on the bottom of your foot-even that was made of some hard plasticky material.
If you’re looking for the comfy, strong, adjustable sturdy Docs of years past-forget about it.
Barbara –
This was one of the most disappointing purchases ever. The footbed was a hard almost plastic feeling material, there was very little give in the sole, and they were not nearly as adjustable as the old Docs I had and loved. I had fisherman and cross strap sandals with wonderfully comfortable footbeds, either fabric or leather and they were super adjustable-length, width and height of straps. These new Docs were not adjustable in the width at all. They were stiff and narrow and just uncomfortable.
I cried.
Where are the old Dr Martens??!!! They were wonderful. And they lasted for years and years.
GS –
Wore these right out of the box. Zero break in time. I normally wear a 6.5 or 7 depending on the shoe. Got these in a 6 and they fit fine. Very comfortable.

So first of all, I’m a little shook by how much I like these. I haven’t owned a pair of Doc Martens since around 2004 — these are adorable.
You know how sometimes your fashion vision and how it translates onto yourself can have a hard time realizing itself? I feel like these shoes finally hit that sweet spot — chunky sandals with some height that also don’t make my feet look like bricks and put the rest of my body into imbalance.
I did buy the white, the black would be visually heavier obviously. I am a solid 8.5 in most shoes, and found that the size 8 work well for me and they will stretch out with wear.
Very excited to wear these, really feel like an elevated version of myself in them!
GRACie –
Female, Wide feet, all docs shoes are size 10, sandals size 9, I feel 8 could fit me by length, but since the back straps and front straps are all adjustable, 9 is perfect.
My concern was, if it is too chunky, the sole is too thick, too manly looking, but turn out it is all great, dresses, leggings… all good. Very comfortable, feels like it has little arch support (arch support is good for your knees regardless you foot shapes)
CGS –
I am a true size 6 and the size 6 fit well. I did have to put the back buckle on the last/tightest hole though to make the sandal feel secure on my foot/not slip. The strap material does feel kind of cheap, but it’s not a deal breaker, I love the shoe. They are very comfortable. I have only had them a few days, but have worn them multiple times.

Have purchased the Voss II previously, in a slightly different style and color. The last one fit perfectly, and is the most comfortable sandal ever. This one, not so much. It was long and narrow, and didn’t feel much like Docs to me at all.

These are very comfortable and require no break in time. They run slightly big, but a 3 (or 5 US) is the smallest size.

Had to return because the straps don’t fit well on my narrow-ish feet, and they aren’t adjustable.
Devra –
Cute style for a comfortable sandal. Happy with my purchase.

Heard that you should size down because Martens tend to fit bigger, BUT I chose not to and they fit just fine. There is good room in my opinion. Not too much. If you don’t want to take the chance of having cliffhangers or a heel hanging off the edge of the shoe, I suggest you GO WITH YOUR REGULAR SIZE.
I should point out that I have WIDER feet and also FLAT feet, so the sizing helped the shoes feel MORE COMFORTABLE and not tight in all of the wrong places.
I gave 4/5 star on the comfort just because I hate sandals and hate how they feel on my feet. I just never wear sandals so besides that, they were 5/5.
Akmaral –
They are wonderful! Perfect for my narrow leg (23 cm). My size US4/UK3 – fits perfect. Love at the first sight))))

Daughter loves them
Courtney –
they are surprisingly lightweight and also very sturdy feeling. the straps will need some breaking in however. And also, my recommended size was a size smaller than I usually get, and it fit perfect! So you may need to trust that you’ll need a size smaller, or at least a half size smaller. The straps in the front half dont dig in much at all compared to the straps on top and on the heel, but i love them and hope to use them for many many years!

TTS, great sadal!

These might be the greatest sandals I have ever owned. They have great support and are just cushiony enough to help if you have bad knees like I do. They are incredibly sturdy and I’ve worn them for everything from running errands around town to climbing the Acropolis in Greece. They are worth every penny!
Angelica –
So this is my first pair Of Dr Martens sandals. They’re super cute, and I went based on the reviews with sizing down. I’m a 8 1/2 – 9 in women’s . Depending the brand or shoe make. I definitely did size to a 8 in women’s. They fit just fine. I also sometimes go for a wide size but this were just perfect sizing . Unless you have a super wide feet then go to your “normal” size. I’m 5”4 215lbs . Just in case. The packaging was on point and delivery also.

look great, super comfortable, love my Docs.
