This is my second pay of Altras and I am even more impressed with this pair than the first ones I have. I normally wear a wider shoe, and was concerned with a regular width version of this shoe, but figured I’d give it a shotI was pleasantly surprised!! This shoe has an absolutely perfect toe box for my wide feet and makes me feel like I’m running on clouds. I can’t wait to put hundreds of miles on this pair of shoes. I’m already considering buying a second pair so I can have some backups!

PLEASE MAKE SOME EVERY DAY WEARABLE COLORS! Outside of the color scheme I do love these shoes. Good comfort with plenty of space for your toes. Been wearing altras for years now. Paradigm was my first type and probably my favorite.

I have extreme over pronation, with wide feet. These areone of the most comfortable shoes I’ve worn, but I hate the light blue color on the only color way that is offered in wide sizes.

Great shoe. Just wish they had more colors available in the wide sizes. If the lime colorway came in wide that would be my go to shoe for everything. Hope altra expands the colors in the wide fit..@

The Paradigm 7 is very comfortable, roomy, cushiony and well built. I’ve mainly worn the Torin over the years but thought I’d try something different. My feet fell warmer in the Paradigm 7 than the Torin but overall I really like them. BTW: the blue color is a “really bright” blue.

This is the first pair of shoes (and the 6 before these) that I don’t need my expensive orthotics. I need a Metpad to help a problem with the ball of my right foot. I can wear these all day with zero discomfort. When the 6’s wear out I’ll buy another 7, or maybe 8’s when they come out.

First time trying the Altra stability line. Comparing them with Topo, another brand with the larger toe box. So far so good. Will know more after wearing them for a while. Roomy toe box. Orthotics fit nicely. Secure fit, but not too tight. Size seems to be the same as other brands. These are listed as having ‘high’ cushion vs ‘mild’ cushion, but I didn’t notice that much of a difference in the cushioning between the Provision, Paradigm, and Experience. I would say they do not have an abundance of cushioning, but enough. The ‘guide rails’ seem to offer fairly good stability, not the kind of stability that shoes had several years ago, but the type of guided stability shoes are offering now. As these are my first pair of Altra, I can’t compare to previous versions.

Thank you, Altra for giving us the only zero-drop stability shoes with moderate/high cushion in the market. As someone who has had knee surgery and back issues, this shoe is a godsend. Super comfortable and stable. The arch support and the guidance rails are perfect. Please don’t change this combination Altra or discontinue this line.
My only request to Altra is to give us a trail version of this gem! Currently, none of the Altra trail shoes have an arch support and guidance system.

Wear them casually, specifically when getting groceries, shopping, running errands etc.
Very comfortable to wear all day and stand in.

After running in the Torins and getting injured, like a fool I researched after. Knowing I need supporting shoes, I bought the Paradigm 5s and absolutely loved them. Once they wore out I bout the the 6s the foam was too soft and not supportive like the 5s. The 6s were also not responsive like the 5s. I took a gamble on the 7s because I heard they were firmer and they are way better than the 6s. People that started on the 6 probably won’t like that, but people who started before the 6s and went to Paradigm for support will love them compared to the 6s.

I use it for my all around shoe. I’ve tried other brands as well as Altra and know that the paradigm is the shoe for me.I have six pair of this model.

I use them for running. I have bunions and these wide toe boxes allow me to run without pain.

So grateful Altra shoes are in this world!!! My feet can only take thin-soled barefoot shoes for so long and then I need CUSH, especially when walking longer distances on city concrete surfaces. LOVE this bright blue color too!

This is my 4th pair of Altras and I love the wide toe box, just what I need. My downgrade on the style stars is due to the color. The color says ‘white’ but these are cream…even slightly rose gold…at best. It’s not enough to return them as I’m using them for exercise but if it was an every day shoe for me, they would have been sent back.

Love, love, love this shoe and the substantial improvements from the previous 6 model. I had 2 pair of 6’s and both wore out a hole in the heel cuff. They fixed that with better, stronger fibers throughout and this shoe feels so solid/stable underfoot. by the way, customer service folks were awesome responding to having shipped the wrong shoes to me at first Go Altra!

The product is comfortable and provides me the toe box I need. I would like to have a greater selection of colors in size 15. This has limited my ability to buy the colors I would like to have. There is a lot of great value for me in having this quality of a walking shoe and I would like to buy more.

I use these shoes almost exclusively for daily walking exercise. They are GREAT! I can’t believe how light weight and comfortable they are. The cushioning for my bony feet is exceptionally comfortable and supportive. I love them.
